Booking Ahead has Advantages

As a Chef and Caterer I am often asked how far ahead should I book my Wedding, Birthday or Work Event?

If you have a favourite Caterer or Chef that you want to supply the food for any function party or event you are holding then my advice is to book at least 12 months in advance.

With Nutmeg and Pepper becoming more and more popular we are finding that we are now booking Weddings 12 months out, Events 8 months out and Parties or Other Functions 6 months in advance.

Although we offer a DIY Catering Option which is available 7 days a week, we do express that getting your deposit in to secure your dates are essential to save disappointment or leaving you to have to take a chance on a company or chef you don't know.

DIY Catering however is a fantastic options that Nutmeg and Pepper provide to take the hassle out of the planning. We Create the food and you heat and serve. This is a great way to save money and we deliver your food to your door. We advise to book as far in advance as possible to get your desired delivery time but having said this we are always happy to take last minute bookings to ensure you don't miss out on food for your function.

Nutmeg and Pepper have a variety of menu options and all are available online. You can ever order online and put in a save the date to ensure you get in before someone else nabs that date you so painstakingly decided on.

Months to watch... always book ahead for the following months as they are the most popular for Wedding and Family Events: March, April, May, July, Sept, Oct and Dec.

When planning your event party or function, please take into consideration that we need to order and create our food from scratch so booking on the same week of your function is not only going to rush your order through but may lead to substitutes of ingredient or certain food items not being available. Nutmeg and Pepper do not open packets and serve, everything is handcrafted and lovingly prepared. Organic Produce needs to be ordered and have restricted delivery days. If we miss the delivery window you may have to do with Market Fresh instead of Organic.

Nutmeg and Pepper has a fantastic Upmarket Food Truck which is very popular for Events and parties offering a different wow factor to the day/night. It is custom dressed to suit your event (flowers, lighting etc) and is becoming more popular. At this stage we only have one Food Truck so this is a must book ahead situation.
